Speedwell

 

 

 

The speedwell form a family of small flowers, blue in general, it is not always easy to distinguish from one another, although not being a specialist I think I can say that both species presented here are rather:
the angel's eyes (Veronica chamaedriys),
et la persica, corolla blue, yellowish throat,
both growing between April and May, period of this series of shots..

 

According to the book 'Medicinal plants' Emile Perrot and Rene Paris (1971), all speedwell, which can pick the flowering tops, are bitter, stimulant, stomachic, vulnerary and astringuentes.
