The time refreshed, and it's time to start putting some or gloves on their hands or those of their children.

And sometimes a glove right hand or the left, falls
and often well-meaning souls like you and me, the pick and place in evidence, hoping that whoever found the lost ..

We meet these gloves and the edge of streets, roads, prominent and well placed to photograph!
Here are a few, seen during my travels.

Notes on definitions or expressions below:
Until 1950 (or earlier depending on the region) people called "the good bourgeoisie" wore leather gloves at any output. It was a sign of distinction and these gloves also avoided getting dirty when traveling in the street, opening car doors etc.. It was hardly avoid the cold, as is customary at present.
Propriety wanted (even now it is true) that we remove our gloves to shake someone's hand in the street, and of course remove them entering houses. It was with the hat an indispensable attribute for both men and women. Everyone "goods" were in town this type of gloves, winter and summer.
If men were unanimously leather gloves, women gloves donned easily end fabric (silk, linen, embroidery etc.).
Doing the glove with the leather craft and was a very important industry. Years 1800-1900 dictionaries spend long articles that I did not want to refer here to the extent that this mode has almost disappeared.
